... had dinner at Cleo's, the Mediterranean restaurant at the hotel. The style is small plates and sharing, not the most elegant way of dining, but each one of the four dishes we ordered, artichokes with Nicoise olives, brussels sprouts, garlic shrimp with white bean sauce and duck wrapped in phyllo was better than the one before. ... the sun. The mall is the best place to shop in Miami and it was difficult to control myself amongst the maze of clothes and shiny new shoes! But I was strong and only purchased the absolute essentials (give or take a few not so essentials).

About half an hour in we wanted to listen to music but realized we didn't have any speakers. However our prayers were answered when a guy in his late 50s showed up with a yellow boom-box and made camp right infront of us and blasted, ...

... He said he could put us by the 3rd baseline about 12 rows up! Great! "How much?" we asked......$5.00 each!!! Jackpot! We took our tickets and headed in. The park is very nice, it's all enclosed with a retractable roof. It is only the 2nd season that it has been open. Our seats were almost behind home plate (for $5.00 each-incredible). We walked around and got some drinks and popcorn. The game ...
