... I think I was definitely spoiled by all the great food in Germany.

Simon and his family were actually heading towards where I needed to go the next day for my flight, so they were nice enough to drop me off at the airport. I couldn't have asked for a better stay in Germany, it was such a fantastic time, I learned so much, and had such a perfect stay!

I had three more days to go before my flight back to the U.S., and I finished off where it all started, Madrid, Spain.

... who has a fear of flying book almost 20 flights to 12 destinations over three months? Well, I am trying to live by the phrase “face your fears”. Really it’s a lot more simpler than that. I have always hated being on planes but it has never stopped me from traveling. And really, aside from the moments when the airplane is “de-planing” (is that a word?), there is no physical proof from my end that shows that I have a fear ...

... Alberta to arrive. Once they arrived Kamila guided us all to Dam's Square near the centre of Amsterdam. She then told us that we had 45 minutes more of free time! This time Maeve and I decided to check out the other main street off of Dam's Square. During our free time we went into HEMA's, souvenir shops, a cheese making store and a couple of clothing stores. During this free time I bought an Amsterdam badge and a Europe badge. Maeve got some yummy mini ...
