It's been a lonnng time! Salinas Weekend
Holaaaaaaaa! It's been quiiite a while since I updated this, but the truth it I hadn't done very much! My first bimester ended around October 18th, and up until this past Wednesday, I didn't do anythinnnnng! Most of the other students went away on trips, but I didn't have the fuuunds so I just sat around. That big rave, the Chongon Parade, was AWESOME. Danced from 10 til 7:30 am!

Pleasant Stopover En Route to Guayaquil
... lunch. It was the first time we´d had a vegetarian meal in a long time. We started off with a potato soup, then were treated to a fried won ton type bread dipped in honey - yum! Afterward was the main dish of lentils and rice with some cooked vegetables. Dinner wasn´t nearly as exciting, as we just had some store-bought ramen noodles with vegetables.

Im Refugio Whymper (5000 m)
... gebacken und bis ins Refugio transportiert - so dass alle Anwesenden pünktlich um fünf Uhr mit Mate-Tee und Kuchen auf Martins Geburtstag angestoßen haben! Er war total gerührt... echt süß!
Mein Führer hat mir zum Abendessen anschließend noch Spaghetti Bolognese kredenzt und ich habe mich schon um 19.oo h nach einem kurzen Briefing für die Besteigung ins Bett verabschiedet, denn um Mitternacht geht es ja los!
