After breakfast, we met our guide for the day, Attilio. He was a hon not a hun and took awesome care of us throughout the day. We tooled up to Chamonix-Mont Blanc in air conditioned comfort, which was a welcome relief on a day of high heat and humidity. It rained all day!! We decided to take the train as far as we could towards Switzerland (15mins) to Vallorcine and had lunch in a cute little restaurant recommended to us by our camp ground. With Ironman Copenhagen at the end of August, training has now stepped up, and comprises of either a solid bike ride or a run each day.
