Wow! What a superb day! Today we drove to Nice. It took about an hour through the mountains until they reached the sea. Nice was busy, but not so busy that we couldn't get a parking spot on the promenade. We loaded the buggy with our beach things and picnic and headed for the pebbles. Today we have relaxed at the site, it was very hot! Paul nipped to the supermarket to buy water pistols and a sustained water fight ensued! This evening Paul is cooking (yes, for the first time) and as I write this I'm struggling with letting go of my camping 'domain' and am holding back the tips and advice - I think I'll continue to cook from now on......although I'm sure it will taste nice!
