    ... high amongst the waves.

3 hours on the beach and we were feeling pretty thirsty and rather peckish, we had spotted what looked like a bar shack over looking the beach aat one end and made our way down towards it. Thinking it would be pretty pricey we got a couple of beers to start and we pleasently surprised that it was only €4, that took care of our first but the kitchen had closed. Thinking we would have one more we were about to grab a round when we ...

February half term was so busy! It was more crazy than Christmas. I felt like a dish washing machine! Leo and I stayed in the entire week to help Gill cook and I became an expert at baking cakes! I made caramelised ...

... the past 2 weeks! We don't want to overdo it and take skiing for granted so we're just resting and helping out with the cooking here and there!

Today I was able to make the cake by myself for the guests! It's nice to play a part in the cooking and something I want to get good at!! I made an Apple and Cinnamon cake from Mary Berry's cooking bible. When I was turning it out, I nearly dropped the cake! My heart stopped for a minute!!!

    At the moment ...
