... the colour of a minute ago. Whenever we asked her what a colour was we got, "not sure", even though she usually points it out if we get one wrong (not that we don't know our colours but sometimes we don't know what she's pointing at, OK).

We got back to our campsite and thought that since we were right next to a lake we should go for a quick swim so off we went and it was a lovely lake even if slightly cold. exploring leaving us to run the sprint. Laura and I walked back to our hotel
via the gelato shop - white chocolate and apricot chocolate chip for me…and
Mint and watermelon for Laura! We also bought some interesting looking almond
biscuits for lunch – pistachio and Mount Etna (sultana and raspberry sauce
topping) They were very sweet and tasted like the almond paste on a Christmas
cake – ...
... I explored the Asiago streets
– it was deserted as the town closes down for the long lunch break. We looked
at the ice skating rink and local “Tree Adventures’ type playground. We spied
a Gelato shop, but had to wait until 2.30 to get our daily fix – Lampone (raspberry) and double chocolate for me.
Back to our hotel for a big diary catch-up. Laura ...

We headed back to the house where we cooked up hot potato chips and I made pikelets for lunch. Tim, Ross, Laura, Greta and I drove a couple of kms up the road to have a walk around the Grotte del Caglieron cave system. It was an interesting walk and the boys also entertained themselves trying to catch skinks!
