... filled with an enormous mall, a cinema, tons of bars and restaurants and even a science learning centre. Our second day in KL was spent almost exclusively in the Petronas Towers, we went to the cinema, had lunch and shopped all day! In the evening we had a few drinks on the rooftop bar of the hostel, the views were immense. He even asked me how my tooth was today at breakfast. So even though I am still in slight pain it's nice to know that I am being looked after by a wonderful hotel staff. :)

The day's plans confirmed, I set out on my last solo adventure at about 10:30 AM. Plans were to visit Istana (the president's residence) which at this time is closed to visitors so one can only only see the gate and the park across the street. This residence is open to the public only four days a year when multitudes take advantage to visit. Terri has been on such a day and did write a blog about it. Near this residence is the Plaza Singapura Mall. It ...
