Did you like legoland?
How did you get to legoland?
On a bus it was boring because it took so long.
What did you like most about legoland?
The scariest ride was the dragon roller coaster it had carridges and there was a dragon head and tail.
What was the most fun water slide?
The green black one because it was really fast and Dad got scared on it.
... filled with an enormous mall, a cinema, tons of bars and restaurants and even a science learning centre. Our second day in KL was spent almost exclusively in the Petronas Towers, we went to the cinema, had lunch and shopped all day! In the evening we had a few drinks on the rooftop bar of the hostel, the views were immense. On our last day in KL we tried to wander the city a little more and get a feel for it, we visited Merdeka Square and the KL tower (a pie in the sky type building). ...
... people do it for you, it was a bit of a shock! Our clothes did not dry properly in the tumble dryer so we had to hang them all over our room using a trusted washing line. Oh the joys of doing our own laundry!!!
Our last evening in Singapore and we went to marina bay. We walked along the promenade, taking in all the sights of Singapore and remembering the last four and a half months in South East Asia. We had one more night to go in Bangkok before Australia but ...
... and asked the concierge whether I could have some salt sachets to wash my mouth out with, as I had had my wisdom tooth extracted-weirdest request ever!!! Would you believe they didn't have any salt sachets so one of the restaurant people delivered me a salt shaker to my room. It was sort of funny but very sweet. He even asked me how my tooth was today at breakfast. So even though I am still in slight pain it's nice to know that I am being looked after by a wonderful hotel staff. :)
The day's plans confirmed, I set out on my last solo adventure at about 10:30 AM. Plans were to visit Istana (the president's residence) which at this time is closed to visitors so one can only only see the gate and the park across the street. This residence is open to the public only four days a year when multitudes take advantage to visit. Terri has been on such a day and did write a blog about it.
