    ... and got us totally lost. It was enjoyable to just walk down the pavements enjoying the life lived on the streets. The rain didn't seem to deter the small stall holders or the street cafes and after a completely circular detour and asking a few locals, we eventually found the park.

    A few pictures in the rain and a chat with a local guide touting for business, we returned to the hotel rather wet and hot.

    ... to was a disappointment as it mainly consisted of counterfeit brands rather than ethnic goods. Again the contrast between here and Singapore felt stark.     ... so we went back to Little India, I had some dosai (which is cheap and good and you should definitely eat it if you come across it) and Lindsey and Cornelia had a spicy crab meal.

    From there we grabbed some cider and sat on the patio at their hostel, which I was really uncomfortable with, because there were a gazillion African and Indian men just leering at us the whole time. Ugh.
