Unlike our journey from Singapore to KK, our return from Kuching was quiet and relaxed - the Damai Beach Resort even provided a light packed breakfast because of our early departure.
Used the MRT that evening to City Hall to have a walk along the Singapore River and Marina Bay, and the next day to Clarke Quay and Chinatown.
Just a one night stopover in Singapore, where we will leave half of our luggage before catching a local bus to take us into mainland Malaysia to Johor Bahru where we will catch our flight to Kota Kinabalu.

Cheap but it's in the red light district so what do you expect? Practically no customer service skills and wifi (which we had to pay for) didn't work. Walls were paper thin and TV had no remote. I think you get the picture.
