A travel blog entry by legoodtimesroll on Jul 10, 2015

... we found Graham easily going through his pre race rituals( which means multiple visits to the toilet) It was soon time to put on the wet suit and join the other GB old boys. Although all competitors there is a commaradery between the group of about 10 "old boys" which were the last wave to go off. They paraded from their pen to the start line and into the beautiful clear water of Lake Geneva. 5,4,3,2,1, and they are off. Graham is out in front , well ...

... stocked. We returned to Geneva in the afternoon by which time the roads had been shut so an enormous traffic jam made it slow progress but eventually we parked the car and Graham racked his bike and went for a practice swim. We visited the UN which was decorated with all the flags of its member nations and ...

Other than that it was a fairly uneventful ride except for it was really hot therefore uncomfortable especially in a full car. After a very long ride we got to Basel where we were switching trains. It was much nicer on this train. Still no AC but more empty seats, plenty for everyone. This was a shorter ride but because it was an emptier train it was easier to entertain Riley. As the other ...

... that's how we decided. There was a couple options but decided Rome. So we were able to get flights for pretty cheap. It was about 20-30 CHFS one way. You can't not go for that price! So later today we would pick up Phil from his office and than head to the airport.

But first Little Gym! We usually go Thursday's but with us gone I arranged for us to go the day before. This may or may not be the case but I feel because Geneve is such a Expat community things are set up for ...
