... me is quite taken with the AS but calls time as we near the end. Seeing her reading the book that Helene and Eddie had given us , whilst still in the baths, indicated to me that she'd probably had enough. We set Tim the Pom to direct us to the Royal Crescent here in Bath. ... in the nearby Frome valley. The farm was called Stowford Farm and it dated from the mid 1300's, with a "modern" addition in 1540. These days the farm has to diversify its sources of income hence the tantalising temptations of the tea rooms. It was interesting to note that the roof on the barn (now a B&B) has just been replaced after 100 years with 5cm thick limestone slabs which had been split like slate slabs - most unusual.
