The Big Kahuna

I decided I would write a big rundown of everything I haven't covered that happened at Sundance over the past couple days. I think I left off at the Carter, right? The reason I haven't updated is that we have scheduled every moment in order to get maximum viewing potential. But first, a list of all the celeb sightings: Pedro from Napoleon Dynamite - Main Street Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher - Outside the Carter screening Pierce Brosnan - Outside the Cove screening Zooey Deschanel, Joseph Gord...

... they promise that there is about a year's worth of great bouldering routes.<br>Wow! Nathan and his friends not only brought us to an amazing bouldering area that we would never have gone to on our own, but they practically gave us a guided tour, going from area to area with us and pointing out the best routes and ways to go about them, all on delicious sandstone that really sticks to your fingers. As ...

Danger and tough

... need to go down for the next 8 miles, my hands and feet were going numb but the construction required that we get off the bikes and walk them around some of the more intense areas. The rain is still coming down and the temperature is in the 40's, a far cry from Florida we are also still above 6,000 feet. Well tomorrow is another climbing day I just hope that it is dry!

The Beginning

... Although I don't plan on living Utah again after I leave for the final time, which I know I will stick to even though people say "well you never know..." (dad!) I do have a great appreciation for this state and hope people can understand and appreciate this place I consider to be underrated as a tourist destination. I also hope for this blog as that people can experience my travels through my eyes and get some good insight on those places. Enjoy!

Outta here.............

... out in the lounge by the fireplace!!! Next day I broke in some new Tevas (my first pair) and got one of the worst sunburns of my life. 1 week later my shoulders are still red and slightly painful. As for my sandals....well I think I will open up a leather shop with the skin that has come off my feet. A quiet night was instore after that and we sat down with some maps and talked about Moab. Tomorrow.

Greetings from utah we were so thankful ...

... the bed of the truck. Moab is nationally known for its mountain bike trails and I was not about to pass up this opportunity. So, I drove off to test my skills at Slickrock Trail. Slickrock Trail is labeled with the second most difficult rating for mountain bike trails in Utah. My legs burned, my heart pounded, and my adrenaline kept me pumping forward. Up the big smooth rock and then down the other side. The rocks were getting bigger as the scenery became more awe inspiring ...
