... by the one way system.
Hostel promised much with reviews and fact it was also a hotel. Receptionist was very dour such I apologised for asking questions of her such as where to eat and whether the free transit service downtown offered on the website was operational. Apparently not so my e-mail to arrange am transfer had gone into the ether. Tried to find some food and managed a tea and blueberry scone but instinct told me I ...

Nevertheless I have managed to get nearly up to date and this blog is focusing on my first week which is the time spent up the west coast on our road trip up the route 1 highway. A journey from LA to San Francisco. I arrived into LAX after the longest transit journey of my life, what was most bizarre was that ...

... told that I wouldn't be able to pick it up till 5pm that night. When we settled into our hostel, we were quickly warned that the guy next to me snored like thunder. Which he did. But he would wake easily when we came back late at night and mutter angrily at us for waking him up when he himself kept us up all night. Not to mention the inconvenience of having to creep around in the dark after coming back late so we won't wake people up. Compared to the other cities, ...
