... like you're supposed to be there then nobody says anything! We stood around and watched the monitors, drank the free beer and watched them do some filming. It was pretty cool. I was surprised nobody said anything to us, we must have looked convincing. You really can fake it until you make it in this town.

Oh and I almost forgot! Jinny's car got fixed so we've been doing some driving around with the top down. It surely is the only way to get around LA!

... s a total rort: $20 to stick a pipe down a hole and pull a chain. I'm in the wrong business. Our first port of call was The Henry Miller Memorial Library. We got there at ten. Closed. I parked and walked back. It opened at eleven. I stood there for a moment asking myself why I was here. This was my second visit and this time I just wanted to say thanks. Leg #3 was NY to LAX. We arrived at about 12:30 am Saturday morning.

Leg #4 was two hour ride to Tehachapi. Thank goodness my brother picked us up and drove us home. We were both very tired and a little loopy so it was great to be chauffered! We arrived home at about 3 am.

Thus ends Margaret and Carolyn's great adventure.

Went to Baccali Cafe a place where the local Chinese community eat at. The service was find considering how busy the place was. Spent 8.95 for a decent serving veggie, noodles, and salmon. I don't think the food was consider fine dining, but it was filling.
