We used hotel points to stay at the Four Points in a neighborhood called Daning. It is in the northern part of the city and in a sort of richy area. But it has a bunch of shops and restaurants which worked out great for us. The hotel was really nice too. Our room was huge!

Our Day on The Bund

Our Last Stop in China
... To be fair the directions given on the flyer we had were way way off. We managed to get there in the end and on getting to our 4 bed dorm we had only one roomie.
We grabbed some meat in pita from a little stall and then headed to a Chinese restaurant where they spoke not a word of English. There were a few images on the wall of nice looking dishes so we pointed and hoped for the best. To be fair the food was nice... god knows what the meat was (woof woof) but we enjoyed ...
