... the GPS is guiding us through all the lane changes beautifully. How did we do this pre-GPS?? Gas - Grove City, Ohio - 2.15/gal. When we left it was .85 which translates to 3.40/gal. Oh YA! Grove City is just outside Columbus. Note for return trip: Huge Tanger Outlet Mall about 70 miles north of Cincinnati right on the highway. Might be worth a stop. ... did get to take home the glasses we sampled the drinks in, which is pretty cool and a nice souvenir. After that tour it was seriously time for a nap. We got in a good hour nap and then headed out to the Old Owl Tavern. It was recommended to do along with the bourbon trail as a great traditional restaurant with a huge bourbon selection. The tavern was in the basement of the Beaumont Inn. The Inn itself was beautiful and obviously a fancy place to stay ...

... even passed an old abandoned building called “Social center for crippled children”. Now there is a haunted house if I ever saw one. We were going to stop at a Wal-Mart in one of these towns but they all kind of freaked us out so we took an extra hour and drove to Winchester Kentucky (There is at least one Winchester in every state). There we found a nice little city with a quiet Wal-Mart. Thank ...
