Weather is a broken record, cloudy with a threat of rain. About an 80% threat of rain this afternoon. So we made plans for the morning.

First, we go downtown to Bayou Bend Collections and Gardens. It was the home of the daughter and sons of the first Texas native governor. His last name was Hogg. The sons were Michael, William, and James. The daughter was given a family name, Ima. Our guide on the tour ...

We saw moon rocks, pictures of all the astronaut teams, space suits, rocket engines, etc. We watched 2 really good films. The first was about the history of the space program with lots of good film clips. The second was a new film about the future of space exploration. Mase started the ball rolling - literally - with two strikes on his first two turns. The rest of us thought we were in for a thrashing...but not so...in the end I ...

After dinner, we went back to our room and changed into our swimsuits. Then we all went down to the pool to have a swim. The pool was amazing! I could swim there for hours and hours! Our mom got in and also loved it! We didn’t go on the water slide, because we are going to wait until our dad comes. He says he has secrets to go down the slide faster!
