We got off to a late start, which should not surprise anyone we know well. By 8:00pm we were crossing the boarder at the Detroit/Windsor tunnel without incident. First stop: Lafayette Coney Island to introduce Domenic and Maya to one of Gino's favourite treats and start a family tradition.
