Ashgabat besteht aus unzaehligen Marmorpalaesten, weshalb sie auch 'weisse Stadt' genannt wird. Sie spiegelt den Groessenwahn der Regierung Turkmenistan wunderschoen wider. Staendig werden alte Haeuser abgerissen und durch neue Marmorpalaeste ersetzt. Rund um die Palaeste gibt es dann noch einige Meter Umschwung und die Strassen sind meistens 6 Spuren ...
