Restaurants menu is a little to be desired. And service levels have dropped since I was last there. But over all a nice hotel. Not too much to do close to the hotel.

In the evening we went to another local restaurant called Moustache ,which has a moustache motif and had a meal with Miranda's old colleague Alexandra who has come to Mauritius from Nice for some winter sun only to find rain.Interestingly the restaurant has a wine shop next door and the wine list is their actual stock. It may be an expensive wine shop but with a minimal mark up was actually very good ...

The tallest palm tree we saw was in fact a disguised mobile phone tower. On our way back we stopped off to pick up the turkey and fresh veg for the big day but balked at paying £7 for a pound of pathetic looking parsnips but they did have a few sprouts but we declined ...

To illustrate all, a tasting of the products of the Bois Chéri Tea range comes in a panoramic cottage with views on the field, a perspective of a nice body of water in an ancient crater and throughout the South of the island

I imagine they have spent the entire cruise pointing out everything they don't like...which would be pretty much everything. No doubt they order the "British Dish of the Day" on our dinner menu every night so they don't have to worry about experiencing any ...

... This was hilarious. We were all drunk and Jake was carrying Sonia like a baby. We got in the cab and had to get her into her dress before we got to the ship so she would be able to get on the ship without getting in trouble. Her feet weren’t even walking, we were dragging her to the line to get on the ship. Immediately people came up to us and took her from us and INTO THE DRUNK TANK WENT SONIA. Hahah so we all got on the ship without problems, and went up to the top deck ...
