Tucson, Arizona, United States lflatseaWe found a nice park for an overnight stay. It has nice showers, wi-fi, cable TV, a heated pool and a hot tub. All for only $16.46 a night including tax. This is the cheapest park so far and definitely one of the best. It is getting warmer. Last night we swam in the outdoor heated pool.<br>

Seeing their hero again--our Bob--was something they just didn't think would ever happen.<br>When Nancy told us Aunt Ruth had moved to Green Valley, AZ, Bob called Ruth to tell her we were only a couple hours away.<br>The next day we were off for lunch with Aunt Ruth and the cousins.<br>"I was always her favorite," Bob says. And he wasn't kidding!<br>It was a delightful visit and a delicious lunch.
Green Valley, Arizona, United States bobnkaren... that our time will be spent between Palms Springs, the Bay Area and back in Mesa. We will try to visit some new campgrounds and areas but this is territory we have pretty well covered. With that being said I probably won't have very many entries over the next couple of months. Stick with us though and check back often - you never know what we might stumble across!!
Tucson, Arizona, United States thesairs... zavírá v 17 h a tak se vydáváme hledat Saguaro NM, původně východní část. Přes půl hodiny bloudíme kolem otřesných zbohatlických apartnámů a golfovýho kurtu, kvůli kterýmu před lety doslova pokáceli celej les saguár. No hnus. (To je teda můj soukromej názor.) O zavírací dob ...
Tucson, Arizona, United States r-e-mEight days until we depart on a continuation of our quest to see all 58 U.S. National Parks. Our number currently stands at 20. For those that don't know our story too well, Park #1 was Yosemite, where we were married on July 24th, 2005 (we met a year before in the Netherlands, where Todd was teaching baseball for Major League Baseball International and Kirsten was playing fastpitch for the Wizards of BOZ in Bergen op ...
Tucson, Arizona, United States tknaskedov... Saturday, by the pool, as the sun goes down. The outdoor pool is hot and beautifully lit and it's open 'til ten, which ain't the case at most hotels. We're simultaneously emailing, doing laundry, and getting ready for a swim before we go back and make supper. The only thing missing is a nice beverage.
Tucson, Arizona, United States bohemianeug... many more. The life of the saguaro is very interesting to note. If it survives, it may live to over 200 years. It is capable of producing thousand of seeds in a given year. After fifteen years it is barely a foot tall. At 50 years it will be about seven feet tall. And at 100 years old, it Will be an impressive 25 feet. If it lives a full life, it can grow to 50 feet tall. In the end it may simply die of old age, if not felled before by the ...
Tucson, Arizona, United States kaowinston... the taxi driver to take us there, however, he warned us against the place (which apparently has a rather unsavoury clientele!) So on his advice, we eventually got checked in at ´Motel Six´ which turned out to be a pretty good choice. We didn't have much time to enjoy our room though, as the alarm went off at 6am the following morning and we dragged ourselves out of bed to begin our trip into Mexico. Andrea and Dan
