So read this morning's Weather Channel forecast after my stormiest night of the trip and before a wet morning ride to Louisville. Little sleep last night after spending most of it in 3 waves of thunderstorms. First is a strong wind, then thunder simultaneous with the lightening and then intense rain that tapers over an hour or two. Sometime during the night my tent pole bag blew away never to ...

... There are two floors of displays with some of the displays hands on for the children. Some of the displays include: Hats (some very large outrageous ones), outfits, silks, films, trophies, description of jobs in the horse industry and implements they use. Have never been a fan of sports involving animals, but you catch the fever while you are there. Would love to attend on a race day, but the every day Joe tickets are sold out for 4 years. Money that was changed hands on the last Kentucky Derby Day was $210,000,000. Had lunch downtown ...

... over the bridge and so very convenient to downtown Louisville. Louisville is a beautiful city. The downtown area has been restored with all the original architecture and personality intact. We used the free hop on and off trolley to tour downtown. Visited the Louisville Slugger Museum and toured the factory. Great little shops and restaurants all throughout downtown. Going to Churchill Downs today and will be taking a riverboat cruise down the Ohio River this evening. Life is ...

... a short 15 min wait, Art texted that we could come on in. We found a table on the covered outdoor deck and got our grub on. Fried chicken, coleslaw, and macaroni and cheese (Liam's favorite). Art got medium spicy chicken, but it seemed to be a little bit more than medium, because he kept drinking the lemonade to wash it down.

After lunch, we headed to the Country Music Hall of Fame, but by this time Marina had fallen asleep. I took control of ...
