Edmonton, Alberta, Canada senorbrian... lived in Canada for 50 years and they were the first bears she'd seen so she was pretty stoked). Also took a trip to Vancouver Island with Beverley where we stayed with her friend, Belkis in Sooke. Visited Port Renfrew where we saw two gorgeous humpback whales so close to the rocks where we were walking - bloody amazing experience. Butchart Gardens is also worth a visit (not far from the airport) if you're into your plants, gardens.

Edmonton, Alberta, Canada neil.gordon... please. That wasn't the interesting thing though, after leaving I headed back to the hostel and decided that it wasn't worth going to bed because my train was at stupid o'clock in the morning. I spent the rest of the night talking to Dyan who was on night duty. Outside a young lad was having his head ponded into the asphalt, by the time we got out there the car with the guys who were beating him was driving off and the friends of the lad were calling for ...
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada lightweight... strength and magnificence. Having this small token reminds me of the importance of celebrating our successes and wins. In the past, I have not been able to comprehend the value but now I understand the vital importance of this ritual. These are the moments that we will draw upon to give us strength to finish the next race. Grateful for support. ~A smile of encouragement at the right moment may act like sunlight on a closed-up flower; it may be the turning point in a struggling life.~

Him: So how do we know you have a place to stay and are planning on leaving? (The guy made a good point, but I wasn't about to tell him that. I'm starting to get a little nervous about now.) Me: Well, I have plans to leave, I just don't have them on me. HIm: Well if you can't prove anything, you run the risk of getting denied ...
Edmonton, Alberta, Canada canadianaccent... My itinerary is only somewhat decided. I will visit Vietnam in my first month, and possibly Siem Riep in Cambodia, then I'll cross to Southern China by April. Three weeks into that month I will make it to Shanghai, and then on the 23rd of July, I will fly home. I'm going to try to visit Tibet, Mongolia, Japan and Hong Kong as well. I am worried that I am being once again too ambitious, because China is a massive land. Time will reveal the possibilities, and on this blog I will tell.
