... usually only briefly and it passed very quickly. We only got really wet when attempting to cycle to see the sunrise at Tongariki, but that day was the worst we had. It could be a little cool in the evenings but was mostly warm.

... we nailed those out in the first couple of days and everything took longer than it should have so Bogota didn't get off on the right foot for us either. But that changed over the rest of the week as we explored the city and its unique charm. Its old amongst new, clean next to dirty, and there is graffiti everywhere! We did a graffiti walking tour and learnt a lot about the history of the art and its legality in the city. We caught up with the Swiss boys again ...

There was a protest, or perhaps more of walk and gathering, to promote peace and social justice in Colombia, so the streets of Bogota were packed, we could barely move, so the wander round the city was scrapped and we headed to the gold museum. Now ...
