... we cracked on to the Theatre district and then to Millennium park. The park was gorgeous and really big, we sat by the little man-made stream and joined the locals / other tourists in dipping our feet in to cool down a bit. Also here was Buckingham Fountain, a really nice fancy fountain as you can see from the pictures. I took one of my favourite pictures here from the whole of North America. ... sun had now set and we were struggling a bit due to the long day of travelling we went back up to the observatory deck in the John Hancock Centre to get some photos of Chicago at night. This would save us visiting again on the Sunday evening.

So it was back to the hotel and in bed for 10.00pm, absolutely shattered. Having said that we woke up at 4.00am and couldn't get back to sleep, Decided to update the blog.

... soccer match. It was great fun until the final 30 seconds when the entire bar went into a defining silence. I know the announcers were talking about the goal but I didn't hear a word as the entire place stared in shock at the 2-2 score.
