Rolling Along The Lincoln Highway

The first 4 miles didn't go well, taking 40 minutes. We passed the turn-off to the temporary monument to the spot where Flight 93 crashed. It was eerie to imagine something so horrific occurring in the middle of this rural paradise. The real monument should be open in time for the 10 year anniversary in a few weeks. We couldn’t take the 6 mile detour to check it out in these hills.

Our last night camping!!!

Being that this is our last night of camping on the trip, it is so bittersweet because we have enjoyed it so much, and have especially loved reading everyone's comments, and knowing we had a coffee club following every morning. We want to thank you all so much for coming along on this trip of a lifetime, and making us feel connected to home. Its been a blast!
