As the last entry ended we had started Day 7 of our journey with the visit to Carlsbad Caverns. We left from their with several friends and strangers we happened upon in conversation, encouraging us to go the more scenic route and visit White Sands. We ended up heading back & getting our hotel at the same time as Kat & Dan arrived with the kids which out great. We really enjoyed our chance to just be a couple & the kids had fun going out with their family & hanging out with Isabella. We all crashed pretty quick after getting ready for bed that evening.
