      Travel Blogs from Nashville

Three to get ready, now go cat go!

A travel blog entry by ruthii on Aug 29, 2014

After yesterday's disastrous drive, and subsequent incredible music evening, we found ourselves enjoying the luxury of a long lie in. After a very late entry into breakfast and consuming the morning's dregs, we headed back down the hill to the main tourist attraction in Nashville, the Country Music Hall of Fame. Home to an incredible array of memorabilia, footage and photographs, it was a thorough walk through the history of the genre. Spread over three floors, there was an immense ...

Nashville was a lot of fun. I got in to town early enough to check in at the hotel and go out to walk around downtown for a while. It was hot but not too bad. We had booked a pretty cheap room for our stay in Nashville, and arrived to find we were at the end of someone's garden in what was simply a decorated shed. But it was quite a nice shed, with everything you would need in there! Anyway after a recommendation from the owner, we sampled some BBQ food, this time Nashville style! So tactical orders from me and Lois saw us have pulled pork, ribs, chicken, and brisket on our two plates, just for research of course so ...

It was so cool inside and with the both garage doors openings fully wide open and you would think flies or bugs...but NO surprisingly no bugs...I liked that so much!!! There ...
