... experiencing a new university will further develop me as a student and as a person. There are many aspects I am excited for as well.  For example, Chester, England is a beautiful city and I cannot wait to explore it.  It is full of museums, theaters, restaurants, nature preserves...the list is endless. Another super exciting aspect of living in England is being able to explore my love for Harry Potter.  I will finally be able ...

I woke up at 6 as usual, still dark but excited to leave I jumped in the shower. Later as I begun to pack i was thinking of coffee, nudged Lauri awake and peaked out the sliding glass door to notice that Lisa was up. So we grabbed our bags, Lauri did a last minute check, Lisa locked up the house and we headed ...

The flight from KC to DFW wasted no time in getting us there, you could say that time flew by as we arrived at least a half hour earlier then expected. We collected our checked bags and caught a taxi to the house that Lisa was sitting where we were greeted by Mark the friendly puppy, Nicki the barking puppy and a cozy room with 3 complimentary bottles of wine, one of which Lauri proceeded to open and pour while I lit the fire that was waiting for us on the patio. All was well as ...

... being held before the real game. They didn't do a very good job explaining the logistics of this event. There was very little seating in the stadium to watch (possibly even restricted to special tickets even) but there was a hill outside the stadium from which one could have a good view. Problem is most of us were already inside (no re-entry if you exit) and therefore couldn't see. They did have the game on TVs around ...

... We ended up getting "standing room only tickets". It was fun to walk around the stadium and check it out. The Hall of Fame area was interesting. We learned that the Athletics went there after they left Philly for a stint before heading out to California. THe Royals are a young organization in the world of baseball..only being around since 1969.

Tomorrow we will be touring Kansas City. Good night. ...
