    ... place to place, is suddenly possible in India – welcome to the twentieth century !

    Today was just to put some distance. The trip meter reads exactly 750 km. Not bad for Day 1.

    Every day, I am going to add a "deep insight" on the Indian highways. Today we'll kick off with the dance of the dinosaurs.

    ... annoying. the table land by it self is a pretty nice place, especially for photography. You will have a 360 deg view of panchgani, and the sunset looks really nice. apart from that most other places will have similar offerings.


    Nice place to relax for a couple of days, quite a few places to visit in and around panchgani and mahabaleshwar. many "points" to see, but the highlight will have to be the food.

    ... We experienced heavy fog on our drive and so even though we were very close to the windmills we could barely see them. The weather was excellent, the air unpolluted and it was nice to be away from the madness of city life. We almost didnt want to come back to Mumbai. Alas! routine life beckoned .

    It has been a week since I returned and though I did get a mild allergic attack it was well worth it :).

    ... ages form these huge human towers (nearly 3 stories high some of them), with the lightest and youngest kids at the top who's job it is to break a clay pot suspended about the human tower. The pot contains buttermilk which is spilled over the whole group when the pot is broken to signify unity and teamwork.
