      ... a nautical motif or designed in an old-timey nature and painted in wild colors which certainly help to attract the tourists that they cater to. Streets are brick - think grey and unevenly placed, not red and meticulously groomed - which I found to be awesome.       Went to a marine academy. half class did marine survey. had to identify a specific marine specie or aspect that was found at the bottom of the pool. record data on dive slate. the other half of the class had to practice using lifejacket and survival suit.

      ... intro lasted until we got to Newport, Rhode island where we stopped for a rest. I got a coffee, walked around the main street and then popped over to Yale to look around.       I was sorry not to get a chance to say goodbye to the hotel owner (and possible distant relative), the Quirke/Quinn man I had met on the day of my arrival. Returning to Hyannis transport Depot I found my Peter Pan bus and settled down for a long journey.
