Started the day waking up in a nice comfortable bed in my own room which is the first time since my very first morning on my whole trip. Hanging shared for so long on contiki & then being on a friends couch it was like heaven! Since being in America I've become slightly addicted to raisin bran for breakfast & paul kindly got some for me so I could have it while I'm here. Ray was off today so we decided after much deliberation that we ...

... Lucky for me the bus was a lot more comfortable than contiki. It had leather seats and decent air con unlike contiki with itchy seats and **** air con! Couple of sleeps and some sweets later I was in providence and met the lovely Paul right away when I got off! It's so nice when j travel solo and get to a new place to see a face j know, I immediately feel less stressed and more relaxed. Paul helped me with my case ...

I was sorry not to get a chance to say goodbye to the hotel owner (and possible distant relative), the Quirke/Quinn man I had met on the day of my arrival. Returning to Hyannis transport Depot I found my Peter Pan bus and settled down for a long journey. The stop for my transfer was called Fall River and from the name I pictured a cute little town erm... on the river! Apparently Fall River was an industrial city that had once housed loads of factories and factory workers. As the ...

So, here we are still, one of the only boats that are still in the water at the marina. I'm going to be honest, since Mom left it has not been an easy five weeks... In actual facts, the days have been harder, everyday is a challenge. Yes, challenges make us stronger and I will be able to take a lot with me after these times, and I should be grateful for this experience, and there are much worse things in life, and I must remain positive and happy and ...
