... When we got back to the port, the Costa Magica had pulled in next to us. What a difference! People everywhere!

A quiet day on board. I managed to insult a very rude woman who pushed in front of me then went on and on and on asking questions about Istanbul. I finally asked if it was ok to interrupt this woman who had pushed in front of me. The other highlight was sitting ...

During the war it was used as a hospital and later as an orphanage before it was restored for tourists to view. We drove through the main town and by this stage it was so wet we decided to return to the ship and warm up and have ...

Day 46 - Corfu Greek Island

A travel blog entry by ttdaniel on Oct 03, 2014

... wine tour on the beautiful Greek Island of Corfu. In the days of ancient Greece, Corfu marked the final stage of the legendary trip made by the mythological Greek hero, Odysseus, on his journey home to Ithaca. Today we had a fantastic guide who delivered the tour in German and English. His flamboyant and excitable nature kept us entertained and throughout the day told us many Greek mythology stories. I particularly loved how much expression he used when he ...
