... a perfect way to end a day. Another evening we went on a mission to find a kayak, as we had been told it was a must do to paddle out to sea at night time to see the plankton. We managed to find one, but to my horror, as we both sat in it it sank! As you can imagine I was not pleased! I was showered, wearing clean clothes, which were now wet and sandy, and we were about to go out to sea in the pitch black! So, attempt number two, a blow up dingy...which was not so blown ...

... Jack. We arrive at the airport - did we mention that we don't actually know where we're headed from there? The plan is to book a ticket to the most interesting - sounding destination. We feel like we're in a movie - when was the last time anyone has bought a plane ticket at the airport an hour before the flight? 2 planes, lots of hunger and major exhaustion later we find ourselves sleepwalking at Chiang Mai ...

... other is quite an interesting sensation. The pounding of the rain on the water is a sight not to miss. This is followed by a Baywatch-style jog on the beach. With all the rain our big plans to explore the island and hike to the lighthouse literally fall into the water (German is our (ok 2/3 of us) mother tongue, give us a break). Instead we trek through the jungle to reach a sunset lookout point. While we wait for nature's spectacle we practise our posing and shooting ...
