... About 3 mins later - we aborted - slightly cool, rushed back showered and hit the town of Valencia, still a bit speechless. With the top sites in Valencia to tick off, we found a park and hit the centre. Too long a queue for info at the turismo centre we headed for the big cathedral holding the only recognised holy grail by the Vatican. ... plot of grass under a bridge. I only slipped and fell in the mud once. Then we went out to a different Irish pub to watch Spain play in the World Cup. The place was packed, and it was really fun to watch the Spanish getting into the game, even if Spain was losing.

Thursday Spain got a new king! I don't know how big this news was back in the U.S., but it wasn't as big of a deal here as I thought it would be. The problem is that most people don't like/don't want a monarchy ...
