We had reserved an AC 3 sleeper aboard the Punjab Mail express between Delhi and Bombay. This meant that we would be sleeping in a 3-tier air-conditioned car with a total of 6 people in our section of the rail car. After 2 weeks in Bangalore, 33 hours away I reach Ujjain, home town of one of my Indian friends who is about to get married. It's a lot of fun, ceremonies, lots of dancing, good food, colourful saris and lengas and after four days he is happily married and I have a lot of pictures and good memories to bring home. And after all, still two more weeks to go.
