The people in Dalain, omg, I dont know how they get up in the morning, look in the mirror, and think they can step out in public. Heres some tips of how to fit in in Dalian:
Perm- The perm is IN. Get a short perm, wax it down with excessive wax but with fuzzy bits fraying out everywhere. Maybe like a huge afro waxed down I guess, but shaped like a bob.

... maybe Canada. He worked for a guy but the guy stole his recipes and Eddie left. Then he came back and opened "The real Eddies" Not sure if all that is correct but hopefully it is close. I guess there is another restaurant in Kai fa qu called "Eddies" Anyway, he serves western food and has a delicious bakery. I had some of the chocolate chip cookies. They were tasty.
Again, back to the story, we went to ...
... ship and I noticed it was open today, but now because I had the bike, I couldn’t walk up to it. There was one more road but it had some barriers set up. Maybe I can ride up there and come out by the space ship. I thought I would give it a try. I started riding through the parking lot and up to that road and just as I entered, I heard someone yell behind me. I don’t know what they yelled but by the way they yelled, it sounded like – Don’t go up there. I turned ...

The next morning I went to a café to use the wireless, then walked downtown. On the way, I decided Dalian was a bit too hot, icky and modern for my liking. Worse, the air was filthy, so when I got to the bus station, I bought tickets to Dandong, for the next day, then headed out to Beichuidao, supposedly one of Dalian’s better beaches. The drive out there was actually pretty nice, but the beach itself was crowded with people and trash and the ...
I gave in to two vices today... melted cheese and a massage.
Kirsty organized for us to go to this little place in Jinshitan for a message, and I was really excited. For Y80, we would get pampered for nearly an hour—one of the strongest motivations to moving to China.
We walked there after school, and I wasn't totally sure what to expect. The lady led us to this backroom that was decorated... I am trying ...
... One student was in charge of the banners, one in charge of the t-shirts and one in charge of the music. By the next meeting we have 30 t-shirts for 45 volunteers, and no design. My first complaint was how did they think 45 people were going to fit in to 30 t-shirts? Daniella and I were volunteered to try to track down some extra black t-shirts in a market near our house with the instructions of not spending more than Y5 per t-shirt.
As for the ...

But, to accurately demonstrate the era we were teaching—The Stock Market Crash of '29—suddenly the stocks started to drop, and of course the banker recalls all the loans... Still more frantic trading and the prices keep falling. The game ends when stocks are worthless, people have been cleaned out by the bank, and thus the discussion begins.
Who says that there is no capitalism in China? The students’ awareness of the emotions ...
... 997 meters in diameter, the largest of its kind in China. The base of the column is carved with 8 dragons, and the top with another, representing Chinese lineage. The dimensions commemorate the year 1997 when Hong Kong returned to China, the occasion for which Xinghai Square was converted from a garbage dump to a park, which carries its own bit of symbolism. 1999, Dalian's 100th anniversary, is also highlighted in the dimensions ¨C the plaza is a star ...
Dalian, China nietsreuef... other laborers hang out. This is one of the medium sized employment centers. The larger centers have billboards with job postings and several hundred workers hanging out. As you can see, many of the skilled trades sit on the curb with their tools on display, ready for a customer to show up and give them something to do. Once every few minutes, a truck pulls up (or maybe a bike or motorcycle), loads up 2,3,5 or a dozen workers and off they go to ...
Dalian, China nietsreuef... wood, the instruction is light and natural. Light because the information is not as heavily stressed as the skill that is being learned. Natural in the sense that teachers take time to nurture and look after their students' well being. As well, students are taught in a style that promotes and stimulates active learning, which tends to be much more natural. Given the right direction, a wooden ball has the ability to move freely on its own. Compared ...
