A little ways on from Pervalka, the track turned west and headed through more pine forest towards the Baltic coast. I deviated from the main bike track for a bit to head to the beach for a bit. By now the day was quite warm and mostly sunny. After leaving the beach, I backtracked until I got back to the bike track. It is on the top floor...actually its the attic...of an apartment block just off the main street in the town. The region was mainly agricultural. There were long stretches of farmlands, completely unfenced.

... here in Klaipeda! This park is full of sculptures done from 1984 to 1986 by various artists, it was formerly a cemetery but was demolished by the Russians. It started to rain again so we had to leave and head back home. Quiet afternoon but we did a little shopping, stocking up for the bus ride to Vilnius ...
