... expensive. They make around 2000 cakes of soap each day and we saw some duck shaped ones that had the beaks hand painted.
Once again we saw Monarco. There are 5 members of the senate to help Prince Albert. There are also 37 police for every citizen and 7 prisoners in the prison which is located near the aquarium. The loos in the Cafe de Paris automatically rotate and disinfect the toilet seat after each use. Quite unnerving.

... I have never had before, was unexpectedly smooth and just very good with the dessert. With dessert also came a gooseberry! When was the last time you ate one of those? The papery wrapper with the slightly oily gooseberry skin and the tart taste of the flesh. Reminds me of childhood – we used to have one outside the back door. The scenery from our table was wonderful and it was one of those spectacular days where the blue sky and the sunshine seem to go ...

... wouldn’t have thought about visiting before became a place I was really beginning to like. The streets were all so tight and confined, to which eventually they all began looking the same, the diversity of people, tattoo’s, funky do’s, different nationalities and races, it was all quite interesting to see.

Today we got up, got dressed, dried our clothes that we put in the washing machine last night, cleaned out the fridge and washed our dishes, finished packing (if needed), and headed out to Termini to get on a train to Florence.
