... open square and I can't remember the name. We slowly make our way to Saint Marcos square and it is just like the pictures except it is more beautiful somehow. The basilica is under exterior renovations, but I'm still amazed by the gold details on the outside. The connecting palace that Doge lived in, is also beautiful.

... When we got back to the van our neighbour asked to freeze his iceblocks in out matchbox sized freezer. He was in a family of 4 and they were attempting to camp in a pretty small tent. In spite of the fact his wife had be glaring at us since the moment they arrived, we obliged and jammed as many of his ice blocks as we could into our luke warm compartment.
