Kite Safari - the start
This is the start of the downwinder. From Cumbuco to Ilha do Guajiru... Looking forward to it but hope mr f has no more kitemares, so far this is what's happened to him: 1. Kite rescue as kite did roll of death. Local swam to rescue board 2. Kite board got tangled in lines & flew 3m up lines so Mr f forced to land kite to retrieve board 3. Foot strap came apart ...
Beach
... down like they do in the movies ha, needless to say anyway he got them all on the ground then released them, nothing like a bit of drama in brazil, Joe remained alseep throughout it all. Went for a pay by kilo meal where we endured more drama by a big political rally parading throughout the streets. Took a bus later that afternoon to Salvador, a nice 22 hour one this will be a longest one so far so wish us luck for that.

Flight
... road signs and with some badly burnt shoulders the station looked nowhere in sight. With the help of a local women she helped us onto a bus to the station.
From the station back we thought we'd make it easy and catch a bus and after a half hour bus ride was well and truly lost. We eventually got back to the coast after a 2 hour taxi ride. After a quick McDoanlds we got our bus to Jericoacoara.

Kite surfin' Cumbuco
Quelques jours loin de la grande ville de Fortaleza et de la civilisation, au paradis des kite-surfeurs. Cumbuco, petit "village de pêcheurs", bénéficie d'un vent constant tout au long de la journée et tout au long de l'année et en fait un spot idéal pour les amateurs de sports de voile.
J'en profite pour prendre deux petits leçons, qui me permettent d'apprendre a manier ...
Le départ
... 200m de la Praia de Iracema à Fortaleza.
Fortaleza, la ville en pleine expansion, de nombreux chantiers d'immeubles sont en cours et déjà beaucoup d'hôtels de d'immeubles tranchent en bord de plage avec le "centre ville historique" de la ville et les alentours.
