    ... an experience! Even though you know it isn't a normal car it's still a surprise to lift the hood and see nothing but more storage space instead of a motor. Did I mention it's quiet?

    ... fingers crossed. Meanwhile, all systems are go here, including the washing machine and dishwasher. It is wonderful to be able to cook in a real kitchen now. I have been “cooking” in a microwave in the trailer for 5 years, and the oven at Dave’s house doesn’t work, so I am looking forward to a bit of baking this winter.

    ... We picked up a dozen, put them on ice and put them in the car to have at a later date.

    We then drove back towards Napa in order to visit a winery on our way home. The winery was my choice, so under pressure I told Ben the name of the one that I had decided looked most appealing.     ... chairs and other beach equipment down steep stairs, no doubt muttering some expletives as he went. Looks like the steep concrete steps have now been replaced with a gentle concrete ramp (too bad Pops...you were born too soon).
