    ... chairs and other beach equipment down steep stairs, no doubt muttering some expletives as he went. Looks like the steep concrete steps have now been replaced with a gentle concrete ramp (too bad Pops...you were born too soon).     First stop along the way was at Navarro Beach State Park. This is camping right on the beach with the waves crashing on the shore. It is a beautiful setting and did seem to be quite popular. Watched a kayaker try to make a landing but got himself sideways and hit the water. Safely to shore though.

    ... has been spectacular, but for some morning fog. On Friday my folks came down from Pollack Pines. They brought lunch, but unfortunately my mom got violently ill, so that put the kibosh on it for her. My dad helped Dave toss up some drywall after we ate the food and poor momma slept a little.
