I'm excited to spend some time in Clitheroe when I arrive. I am very familiar with the town so getting around will be a breeze. And I will also be able to say my real goodbyes to my Grandpa and Grandma. :/ Bittersweet....

And it will help me get acclimated before Dan throws me into real bum life travel.

But of course I am most excited to see my Honey. :D ...

... which was a lot of fun. It was a very fun day being around other Sox fans. Funniest part of the day was as soon as we parked in the lot the scalpers were all over us asking if we wanted to buy or sell tickets. Our seats were only $10.00 each. Marty met a couple of guys in the bleachers with us that spent $60.00 each for the same seats from the scalpers. Yikes!

Clothing ranges from right up there with Wendy's boutique stuff, down to great stuff in the 'Clearance' racks at the huge and many 'Farmers type' stores for ridiculously low prices. I got a very nice $59 Van Heusen short sleeve 100% cotton shirt for $7, and Erin came home with a $62 skirt for $6. I got some nice light $60 cotton slacks for $17.50. And so it goes on........!

Then there is 'Dollar Tree' and 'Dollar General' type stores where end of ...

Once in town we checked into our hotel, went down to have lunch at a local restaurant that was recommended. I have been craving crab cakes, and finally got to have them at The Fish Restaurant. After our lunch we came back to our hotel and walked down to the beach. The water was so warm! I don't know if I'll ever get back in the water when I'm in California.
