Breakfast at Mary Beth's before heading on. Lunch at Bahama Breeze for lunch until our room was ready.. we stayed at Days Inn in Fort Meters, nice Tiki Bar 2 complementary drinks included with our room.. we just relaxed at the Tiki Bar for the rest of the afternoon, me reading Arnie drinking beer. Dinner at our favorite spot, The Fishbone Grille.
I had me a liesurely drive down old Mr 75 to my destination, namely the Orange Harbor RV Resort in Ft Meyers, Florida. I think I travelled a whoppin 80 miles. The ride was filled with some pretty stuff along the way...New housing developments (these are big houses), malls, car lots, RV sales places. annnndddd the everywhere RV stor in Florida CAMPING WORLD...

... beach might be in jeopardy since it was raining pretty heavily. But when we checked radar it was clear that our destination, while only a few miles away, had seen zero rain. This is how things go in Florida. So we crossed the Causeway onto Sanibel Island where it was sunny. The island is full of small businesses, tiny neighborhoods, and a huge national wildlife refuge, which I've yet to visit. Past here is a public beach. We've been here before ...
