... Unfortunately they were still on the franc do the prices were still a bit expensive. We had a schnitzel sandwich and it was incredibly disappointing. It was like a schnitzel you would get from a bulk buy packet!! It tasted ok, but we were all so excited for the traditional schnitzel. ... gets lonely sometimes so it's always nice to have some friendly folk to share your room with and a bar downstairs for the cheeky $2.50 glass of red. The power of the Roman Empire is soon realised when you visit the Colosseum. Day one of my roman adventure I visited this gigantic amphitheater and was blown away to hear it was built in 8 years!!!! I soon learnt that Rome owned the quarries all over the world for natural resources and building materials so ...

... which flank either side of Innsbruck as the view is stunning; it is a truly magical place to watch the sun set on an evening.

There are several places in the centre of Innsbruck that I would recommend visiting. There is the city tower which costs €3.5 entry and gives you an incredible view of the city and the surrounding mountains, however just to warn you the steps are quite steep! There is also the Olympic Ski Jump which is very impressive! However ...
