... museum ...well, not Al...but I only wanted to go to the shop...our guide last time and this time said don't miss it and they were right. Nothing we can't get in the states but it's a local tradition and the chocolates are DELICIOUS!! So...be nice...I have treats to share!!

Beautiful morning as we left Andernach and cruised towards Cologne. The river traffic is noticeably heavier and bigger, with many more River Ships (barges), but the scenery along the river is beautiful.

We spent the morning in the lounge, reading, talking, relaxing. Of interest on the river were the remains of the Remagen Bridge which was destroyed by the Allies in WWII. The movie, The Bridge ...

Early this morning, about 4.30, we sailed passed Frankfurt and onto Cologne, berthing at about 1pm. We opted for the city walking tour which was about 1.5 hour duration. We learnt about the history of Cologne, or Koln as it is called in Germany. With a population of 1 million, it's the 4th biggest city in Germany (behind Berlin, Hamberg, Munich). ... of the ' downtown' area more to us like a sloped shopping alleyway. So we unpacked and went for a look around.
