    ... this is the time that I will recommend actually knowing the language spoken in a country before traveling! Or, like I did when I visited Korea, have a friend that will speak on your behalf. While most people here are very nice and helpful, there will always be people who want to take advantage of tourists. Stay on your toes!

    46 miles Another very hot day on the roads and tracks . I saw a few snakes today and managed to get a photo of one before he slithered of into the bushes ,I don't think it was a venomous one but I didn't try to pick it up just incase ! I also saw an eagle soaring above me with a wing span of about 5 feet ! Either that or it was a volcher waiting for me to keel over so it could feast on me ! ...

    ... The dinner was 5 courses and complete with a mariachi band! The next day we started classes, and I am pleased to report that all of my teachers are amazing! They are all hilarious, really helpful, and easy to understand, which is the most important part of all. There is a lot more i experienced in that first week, but because it is almost 11:00 here and I did not have a siesta today, I'm going to have to say adios for now! Coming up: cultural differences & directionally challenged. ...

    ... to meet and spend time with them all... my second family in Spain. :) And everyone was sooo nice to both of us and the effort made to make sure that we had a fun time and that my mom felt welcome. Well I knew to expect nothing less based on my past visits. :) But it was a particularly nice two days, and it was a great way to end our trip to Europe, we both agreed! I hope to come back much sooner next ...
