    Took us over an hour and three attempts to get out of Bilbao and on the non toll highway to Vallodolid. This happened as a result of taking the wrong exit, returning to a different part of the city and the GPS relying to send us up a road that was under reconstruction.     However, due to strategic and geopolitical reasons, by the 1560s the capital was moved to Madrid and funds for architectural projects were largely cut.
    Today it contains a rich musical archive housing 6000 works, a 16th century altarpiece by Juan de Juni(a wonderful artist) and a marvelous place where sitting down to sunbabathe for all afternoon..."

    ... 8217;s day, so her school held festivities the whole week. Her school invited all families in for chocolate and churros, and since I’m considered family, I was invited to attend! The kids also put on a rhythmic dance show for the parents. Carmen showed me the hallways and courtyards inside the school. It was built over 150 years ago, and Nerea’s father went to elementary school here.
