Packed away and said goodbye to Aranjuez. Despite everything it was a nice place and enjoyed the stay. Headed off once again with our next destination, Tordesillas, firmly in the TomTom. The roads were quite busy on both ends of the journey and again we encountered a toll (12.85). The landscape has certainly changed and it is definitely looking a little more Celtic in places. Coming up: cultural differences & directionally challenged. ...

... to meet and spend time with them all... my second family in Spain. :) And everyone was sooo nice to both of us and the effort made to make sure that we had a fun time and that my mom felt welcome. Well I knew to expect nothing less based on my past visits. :) But it was a particularly nice two days, and it was a great way to end our trip to Europe, we both agreed! I hope to come back much sooner next ...

... for the processions that will take place. Carmen made us a new dish today. She found out that her cholesterol is too high, and that her Simvastino (Simvastatin in Spanish) is not doing the trick, so now she has to tone it down on the fried food. We had a cheesy spinach dish with baked fish. Yummmy
