... some final shots. The drive today is only 186 km but we took a detour through Triberg so we could get one of our last German sausages. We went to the same shop that we did on last years trip. Russ is driving again as Steve has problems with his left knee. Russ's cold has also refreshed and he is not the best. Leave Triberg and get to our hotel just outside Baden Baden at around 4.30pm. A bit of a slow trip as the traffic on ...

... balcony. Note the price of diesel (which the Peugeot uses) is €1.209 per litre ($A1.76/$NZ1.90) but fortunately we only use about 6.4 litres per 100 kms so doesn't work out too expensive. Friday morning was again a beautiful day so we headed down to the village to explore. There are not a lot of shops but what seems like hundreds of accommodation and restaurant facilities. It is a very pretty village with lots of flowers at this time of the year. ...

Stopped by at this city because we couldn't find anywhere to stay that was conveniently situated in between Switzerland and Cologne, hence we decided to stay in another country. The accommodation here was pretty bad, there were only bedding for 4, no wifi & the pillows were more like flat pieces of cotton. Anyways, the city ...
