      ... by the chef. The owner was very hospitable having a conversation with several tables of diners. It seemed clear that these were certainly regular customers. After I paid my bill and was retrieving my coat he asked me if this was my first time dining there and how I learned about the restaurant. Clearly this degree of service has its rewards to the owner and clientele as well.

      ... train to the town of Colmar today, 30 minute trip and a really lovely old town, if it wasn't cold enough already Colmar was freezing, Gluhwein did not help much. Went to lunch and Jenny, she had her favourite of Foi Gras with some toast, I had a taste and it was exceptional. Then train trip home, into the supermarket for some supplies for dinner in again.
