... detail. Rides have atmosphere and you don’t just line up, you move through a themed entry that orientates you to the world/film. The rides were long, inventive and such fun. You really felt you were getting value for money (moreso as I didn’t even have to pay for the ticket!!). All in all it was a surprisingly great day and the seven hours there passed much more quickly than I had anticipated.

... week there I do not recall traversing a single straight street. Why are they all bent? Or what is the fascination with straight lines? Maybe the bend was put there as a type of pre combustion engine street calming. To stop local hoons from galloping their horses and racing their buggies too fast as they sought speed of steed to exhilarate their egos and gain admiration from the petite fille.
... we had been used to people having some level of English. Here in the country that is not the case!!! The lady who came to take our order had no idea of what we were talking about. We finally saw a sign for what looked like a steak burger so we ordered that and hoped for the best!!!
Trying to order drinks though was entirely different. Don went inside to order drinks and the woman behind the bar also did not speak ...
... Fontaineblue - an options I was very surprised nobody else took up.
Anyway. Stunning. Huge. Palatial. Gorgeous grounds, especially out the back near the lake. Definitely worth more than hour and I wish I had time to go inside, but a worthwhile stop all the same. The rich French knew how to live in style.
