    ... boat, had a birds eye view. It was magnificent. They were fired in the air and showered down on us with incredible illuminations and variety. This went on for half an hour accompanied by music.

    Then to bed and this morning a typical French breakfast with fresh rolls, croissants,cheese, fruit, juices and cereal, and, of course, coffee.

    ... activity. Our next activity was horseback riding! We went on a ride through the Paris country side. The horses were really pretty but they loved the grass and hay more than the trail ride.     ... anywhere near the facilities (it was a very long quay but the rest had no facilities) meant getting in a very tight gap between the only 2 other boats on the quay which was an old cruiser (barge bollards in front of it) and a holiday ship (which was very long).     So tomorrow night i look after the kids here so i have all day to do more climbing. I will have to tape up all my fingers tomorrow as they are red raw at the moment.

    Me and the boys checked out the castle here too. Ha ha me Me and the boys, more PC is the boys and I. But then it sounds lame. The castle is fantastic which surprised me actually. We didn't even go inside as the grounds were great.
