You really felt you were getting value for money (moreso as I didn’t even have to pay for the ticket!!). All in all it was a surprisingly great day and the seven hours there passed much more quickly than I had anticipated.

Anyway. Stunning. Huge. Palatial. Gorgeous grounds, especially out the back near the lake. Definitely worth more than hour and I wish I had time to go inside, but a worthwhile stop all the same. The rich French knew how to live in style.
