... The route took us along the coast weaving in and out out villages, through market gardens, maize fields and farms. The smells of the farms were interspersed with the smell of the fishing boats and mussel and oyster fields. The coast was amazing because the tide was out and there was about 500 metres + until the water. People were walking out carrying fishing lines and someone was wheeling their bicycle. It wasn't dry sand, it was wet clay type of ...

... right to the door to the town. There were people around but it was deserted compared with the previous day. We spend a bit of time taking photos and watching the sun trying to rise and then as we turned to go the shuttle buses were letting off waves of people. ... other English speakers left half way through the tour. The grounds were vast and beautiful, so we had a long walk before heading to the hotel for a wine. Tomorrow we have a big day of 53 kms and as its Sunday, breakfast doesn't start till 8am . The weather also is on the change and rain is forecast. We are happy to take each day as it comes. Combourg is more touristy than Dinan with lots of people on bikes and more English spoken. Off to Fougeres ...

... down for a 1:30 train ride. About halfway through the ride they announced that people going to Lison to get connections needed to get off one city early. It didn't really matter because the same exact train we were going to get on the same train we were going to get on in Lison. Once we got on we rode for 2 hrs and got off in the town of ponterson. We hopped on the bus we needed along with a lot of little ...
