... if we were simply guests of a local family. Communication was difficult but rewarding. The beautiful location added to an authentic French country experience.

Sadly our stomachs turned from flutters to groans as all food outlets including supermarkets were closed......not sure I can face bread and cheese again for a while.

I think the Pyrenees are calling.....

Day 26: the downpour the previous afternoon accompanied us right through the evening and only broke in the morning.
