... did have a pool and a great view though so that was a win. The food was pretty good we had roast chicken the first night and pork ribs on the second night. On our second day at the Chateau they arranged a picnic lunch for us and gave us a map in groups of six to a place called top of the world. They should have warned us it was more of a mountain hike. A relaxing morning on board- still in Avignon because the boat still can't move with passengers on board. A brisk walk along the river path - about time! After lunch a bus ride to the delightful medieval village of Viviers where we spent a few hours visiting the tiny streets and old buildings with a great commentary from a delightful guide. ... the alley as far as possible and then shuttle all of the baggage out in the pouring rain.
