This morning we sailed further down the Rhone. Went thru some very large locks where we dropped about 30-40 feet from the previous level. The locks are very interesting. Another day of cruising on the riverboat as we make our way to Provence. Today, a three hour stop in Tain l'Hermitage where we toured a winery (with just horrible wine), the Valrhona chocolate boutique (Barefoot Contessa says this is the best chocolate in the world), and an art gallery. ... site just before midday, we were able to buy tickets to the 1pm tour. We spent the waiting time basking in the sun and listening to the birds.
