Traveling with us is BRUCE AND JAN BENDER from Denver. Friends of Chuck and Yvonne.
bruce had an Uncle whom he never met who died in this Battle of the Bulge. Well, Bruce located that Uncle, Charles Bender, which added to the emotional high. The six of us visited his cross marked grave.

Overall, the first month in Europe has been an absolute pleasure and a blessing. Thank you so much for continuously following my journey and supporting me in my endeavors. I'm a bit sad that I'm missing my stepfather's birthday tomorrow, but I think the flowers and balloons I had delivered to him made up for my absence! If you see him, please give him a big hug for me!

Well Ruby, Bobbie, and I went out celebrating last night. We started with pre-drinks at Bobbie's and played charades (they say it funny, those English kids). I didn't realize there were like common actions to make the game easier. Apparently it's a big deal to play it in England, who would've thought. Well we played for so long that we didn't leave for the Love Boat until about midnight.
