... that afternoon we did the tour of the Navarre Tower,.. a part of the wall around the city. This tower dates back to the 16th century and was built as an artillery emplacement to fortify the wall and city. Its walls are 7 metres thick and it hosted an upper and a lower layer of gun positions. As part of the 'show', the presenters were dressed in period costume and did a live firing display,.. with their muskets. Lots of fun and very interesting. ...

... here all day, but the Pompidou Centre is worth a mention. A ultra-modern museum/arts centre opened in 1977. Interesting architecture, the roof is made of laminated wood beams with stretched heavy plastic/canvas sailcloth cover. Coming from Orlando, I know what it's like for tourists to speak to us in different languages and us just look at them confused and wanting to help. Now I became one of ...

Alarms don't work for me

... home from the mall. So whatever I buy, I have to carry all the way back. It's weird because there isn't a parking lot by the mall. There is a parking area like 5-10 minutes from the mall. There just isn't enough room by the mall to put in a parking lot. It's almost like in the center of the little shopping area. I can't imagine trying to drive and find a place to park in this city. That would drive me insane.

So ...
